Information for new members
Player registrations: Parents, have you paid the registration fee to the Treasurer in order to register your child with the RFU? This is an annual payment. If you haven't already paid this year please see the Treasurer. All parents must also ensure that they have completed a registration form when their child first joined Hayle RFC. This is essential for our information and that of the RFU.
Training Nights: Please ensure where possible that all children are ready to start training at 6.00. All parents are to ensure that they have paid their subs in the changing rooms. This is a nominal fee that helps towards the running of the mini Junior section as we are independant from the main club. Training finishes at 7.30 so please ensure that you are there to collect your child. Coaches cannot be responsible for your children after this time.
Matches: There is a fixtures list available please ask on of the committee for a copy. Please ensure that all children are warm enough, it is better to take layers off and to be warm. The children must wear boots (with aluminium studs) long club socks, shorts, and preferably a long sleve top under the club shirt. The club will provide and wash the shirts, please ensure that they are returned after the matches. Additional equipment can also be worn and will provide increased protection to the children especially if they are playing contact: Gum Shields (essential) Body Armour, Skull Caps, cycling shorts under their shorts also will provide extra warmth in the winter. We will have a board in the clubhouse where people can advertise second hand clothing.

Dear Hayle
As a Monmouth parent who travelled to Cornwall last weekend with the U10s I wanted to congratulate you on an excellent festival.
Since our return my son has talked about little else, and it was a wonderful experience and opportunity for him to go on tour for the first time, and for me to remember what it is to tour!
The effort and work that went in to running such an efficient and memorable two days must have been immense, from the ladies who served pasties continuously from dawn to dusk to the coaches and referees, and the management team who oversaw the timing and organisation of every game.
The care shown to individual players in the junior teams in particular was especially considerate. Many congratulations for a truly magnificent event.
Please pass on my thanks and congratulations to everyone at the Club. |
